Since his first unelected day in office, Joe Biden’s main goal has been to insult and punish the entire country for daring to vote for Donald Trump. Why stop now? With just weeks left in office, Biden has been announcing massive foreign aid packages for countries overseas. Meanwhile, American families continue to languish in misery and poverty because of four years of executive branch mismanagement of the federal government. Biden’s latest insult was the announcement that he’s sending $1 billion in foreign aid to Africa, while American victims of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina are sleeping in tents as winter begins.
To make sure the American people were extra insulted by the move, Biden announced that the new billion in humanitarian aid would be for “Africans displaced from homes by historic droughts and food insecurity.” If you don’t have your Biden decoder ring handy, that’s federal-speak for money that will be spent on nonsense global warming problems that don’t actually exist.
How generous for the people of Africa!
If you really want your blood to boil, here are a few of the countries in Africa that have already received American taxpayer money this year, according to ForeignAssistance.gov:
- Ethiopia – $2.2 billion
- Nigeria – $1.15 billion
- Egypt – $1.3 billion
- South Sudan – $1.12 billion
- Kenya – $1 billion
- Congo – $907 million
- Sudan – $859 million
- Uganda – $790 million
- Mozambique – $755 million
- South Africa – $759 million
Every country on the African continent has already received hundreds of millions if not billions of American taxpayer dollars this year. Out of all 54 countries in Africa, 52 have received big sacks of cash from the Biden-Harris regime this year.
Meanwhile, how much assistance has Biden disbursed to help the people of Western North Carolina and East Tennessee in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene?
According to the latest figures from FEMA, they’ve spent $213 million in assistance to families whose homes were destroyed. Much of that was the ridiculous $750 payout for households that was announced by Kamala Harris back in October. FEMA has also spent another $200 million on debris removal, bringing the grand total to $413 million.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but it seems obvious that Americans living in hurricane-ravaged states deserve more assistance from our own federal government than the people in Zimbabwe are receiving every year. Was there a big hurricane in Zimbabwe that we didn’t hear about?
Americans are living in tents in winter conditions in Western North Carolina right now. Not to worry, though! Joe Biden has announced that he’s freeing up $2 billion for the citizens there. The money will be used to hire new federal employees in North Carolina. The new army of federal employees will act as “community liaisons” for people who need help filling out their FEMA forms for disaster assistance.
Typical. The bulk of the funds that Biden is allocating for North Carolina will go to building the federal bureaucracy, rather than actually helping people. Inauguration Day can’t get here quickly enough.
