You probably recall Algerian Imane Khelif’s dominating performance in the Women’s Boxing competition at this year’s Olympics in Paris. Khelif mowed down all the other ladies with ease to claim the gold medal in the event. Well… this is awkward. A French journalist has obtained a medical report about Khelif and there’s something you should know about the boxer.
Much like Doug Emhoff, it turns out that Imane Khelif enjoys beating the crap out of women and has a micro-penis. In addition to a teeny-tiny weenie, the journalist reports that Khelif has XY chromosomes and a pair of recessed testicles. In other words, Imane Khelif is a biological man.
The medical report states that Khelif has a condition called 5-alpha reductase deficiency. This is a medical condition that only impacts biological males because they’re the only ones with the parts and chromosomes necessary for it.
It’s an extremely rare medical condition. Male babies with 5-alpha are often mischaracterized as females at birth, because of genital deformation. The recessed testicles can give the appearance of a “blind vaginal pouch.”
So, that mystery is officially solved, even though anyone watching could tell that the hulking Khelif was a man out there pummeling the best female boxers in the world. He should never have been allowed to participate in the women’s category in the first place.
The problem is that China’s Yang Liu, who fought Khelif in the championship bout, is also a biological man. Both men cheated the world’s top women boxers out of an opportunity that they had trained for years to achieve. The question now is whether the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will strip the gold and silver medals away from Khelif and Liu.
