President Donald Trump had a memorable moment with a group of veterans Wednesday evening when one of them revealed a patriotic—and pointed—message emblazoned on his prosthetic leg.

During an Oval Office event celebrating veterans and reinstating several key VA reforms, Trump took a moment to personally engage with the group. As he moved through the room, he paused after noticing a small graphic on one veteran’s prosthetic leg. Pointing to it, he asked, “Who’s that picture on there?”

The veteran, smiling, replied, “That is Joe Biden, and it says, ‘Let’s go, Brandon.’”

The slogan, born from a viral moment in 2021 where an NBC reporter misheard an anti-Biden chant as “Let’s go, Brandon,” has since become a cheeky anthem of resistance to the former president’s policies. It has appeared on flags, merchandise—and now, apparently, prosthetic limbs.

Trump laughed out loud, along with others in the room. “That’s very good,” he said, clearly amused. The veteran’s wife, Sarah, then joked, “I told him he wasn’t allowed to ask you to sign it.”

But the moment wasn’t all jokes. Sarah had earlier praised Trump for reinstating the MISSION Act and VA accountability measures from his first term—policies that were shelved under Biden and are now being revived. She also shared how her husband had been repeatedly asked by the VA to “prove” his injuries, despite clearly being an amputee.

“We’ve seen that many times,” she said. “So we’re excited for you bringing back the VA accountability MISSION Act community care that were the hallmark of your first term.”

Trump, visibly moved, presented each veteran in attendance with a presidential medal and expressed his appreciation.

“You have a lot of good people watching that believe in you,” he said. “They happen to be the media, but they believe very much in you like I do.”

The visit also served as a subtle jab at the previous administration, whose VA secretary was accused by veterans of “strategic stalling” and blocking timely access to medical care. The contrast was not lost on the crowd—or on Trump, who highlighted the VA reforms as a key accomplishment of his presidency.

CBP Assistant Commissioner Hilton Beckham later told Fox News Digital that this renewed leadership is giving frontline workers—from veterans to border agents—the green light to do their jobs again.

“Change starts with leadership,” she said. “We’re seeing a complete 180.”

For the veteran with the prosthetic message, it was more than a laugh—it was a small act of defiance and a big reminder of the sharp turn America has taken under Trump’s second term.

And judging by Trump’s smile, the message landed perfectly.
