It’s been said that no good deed goes unpunished, but that’s always been the exception in the past here in America, rather than the rule. We never used to punish people for good deeds in this country. Globalist corporate policy, which is blatantly anti-Christian, means that Good Samaritans are frequently punished or even prosecuted for good deeds. The latest example of this is a Walmart cashier who was fired by his corporate headquarters for trying to stop a shoplifter who stabbed him.

This incident happened in Aurora, Colorado, which is located just outside of Denver. Aurora has been in the news a lot in the past week. Armed gangs of Venezuelan illegal immigrants have been taking over apartment buildings in Aurora and extracting rent money from poor Americans at gunpoint. Democrats claim this isn’t happening because it makes Border Czar Kamala Harris look particularly awful right before the election. Whistleblowers with the Aurora PD say it’s happening all across the city. The news media simply isn’t reporting it.

So, that’s the backdrop in Aurora, CO, right now. It’s a city that is rapidly disintegrating into lawlessness because of misrule by the Democrat Party. You would think that a place like Aurora would be grateful to have Americans like 67-year-old John Zalesky working there.

Zalesky wasn’t just an ordinary Walmart front-end associate. He was very good at his job and at spotting people trying to shoplift. In the past ten months, Zalesky had personally stopped more than 100 people who were trying to walk out of the store with shoplifted merchandise.

Theft at retail stores has been a huge problem ever since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris impoverished every American through their inflationary policies. The Walmart grocery store where Zalesky worked is estimated to have lost $500,000 in the past year due to inventory “shrinkage.” That’s the corporate term for when people steal merchandise.

“There were days we had eight, nine people in one eight-hour shift,” said Zalesky, referring to dirty shoplifters. “I was a valuable asset to [the store]. If I see somebody stealing, I’m gonna’ do everything I can to stop them.”

Zalesky was so good at stopping shoplifters that Walmart gave him the “Shrink Buster of the Month Award” in February 2024. In related news, we have so much theft in America these days that Walmart gives out awards to the employees who catch the most thieves.

Mr. Zalesky spotted a woman acting suspiciously at his store in Aurora last month, so he asked to see her receipt as she was trying to walk out the door. She immediately bolted. Zalesky has grown increasingly frustrated with all the thievery and shoplifting going on, so he followed the woman out to the parking lot to her car.

He reached into the vehicle to try to grab the bag of merchandise that the woman had stolen. That’s when a male passenger in her car stabbed him in the arm. Zalesky retreated and the couple sped away. Zalesky describes his injury as a “little bitty stab wound.”

His co-workers and bosses at the Aurora Walmart praised him for trying to save the store’s merchandise. About a week after it happened, corporate headquarters at Walmart informed him that he was fired. It’s against corporate policy to follow a shoplifter outside the store.

Welcome to Aurora, Colorado, in 2024. It’s a police where illegal aliens can stick a gun in your face and demand rent money from you, and the government won’t do anything about it. And if you try to do the right thing in Aurora by stopping a shoplifter, you’ll get fired.
