The Family That Assaults Reporters Together Does Federal Time Together — Mom, Dad, and Daughter All Indicted

A father, mother, and daughter from Minnesota have been federally indicted for allegedly jumping a Turning Point USA reporter during an ICE protest. Chris, Deyanna, and Paige Ostroushko — the whole family tree — are now facing federal charges for allegedly attacking journalist Savanah Hernandez while she was doing her job.

What a beautiful family bonding activity. Forget game night. Forget going to church on Sunday. The Ostroushkos apparently prefer to spend quality time assaulting women half their size on camera. Wholesome!

We need to talk about how this even happens. An entire family — not one hothead, not a lone wolf having a bad day — but mom, dad, AND the kid all decided that the correct response to a reporter holding a microphone was violence. That’s not a momentary lapse in judgment. That’s a household. That’s what dinner table conversation looks like in that home. “Hey honey, how was your day?” “Great — I taught our daughter how to attack journalists at protests.”

And these weren’t local charges that some progressive DA could quietly plead down to a parking ticket. These are federal charges. The feds looked at this and said, “Yeah, we’re taking this one.” That’s the kind of attention you earn when your entire family decides to gang up on a reporter at a public event.

Savanah Hernandez was covering a protest — you know, doing journalism, that thing the Left claims to care deeply about when it’s one of their people getting mean tweets. She showed up with a camera and a microphone, and the Ostroushko clan apparently decided that was a provocation worthy of a group beatdown.

(Remind me again which side is the threat to the free press? We keep hearing that Trump is “dangerous to journalists” because he calls CNN fake news. Meanwhile, an actual reporter got physically attacked by a progressive family unit and the media coverage has been… *crickets*.)

Here’s what’s beautiful about this story, though — the system worked. Federal prosecutors looked at the evidence, looked at the assault, and brought real charges against real people. Not a slap on the wrist. Not a sternly worded letter. A federal indictment for the whole household.

Three people. One family. All radicalized to the point where they saw a young woman with a TPUSA badge and decided violence was the answer. And now all three of them get to explain to a federal judge why they thought that was a good idea.

You want to know the funniest part? These are the same people who put “In This House We Believe” yard signs out front. You know the ones — “Science is real, love is love, kindness is everything.” Apparently “kindness is everything” has a reporter-shaped exception.

The Left spent years telling us they were the side of tolerance, compassion, and decency. They marched with signs that said “Love Trumps Hate.” They posted black squares on Instagram. They lectured us about civility every single day of the Trump administration.

Then a conservative reporter showed up at their protest and a whole family caught federal charges for assault. Tolerance!

We’ve seen this pattern over and over again. Progressive activists scream about fascism while physically attacking people who disagree with them. They cry about authoritarianism while trying to silence journalists. They wrap themselves in the First Amendment when it protects their protest signs but shred it the second someone points a camera at them from the wrong outlet.

The Ostroushko family just became the poster children for everything wrong with the modern Left. Three federal indictments. One family. Zero self-awareness.

Enjoy the legal bills, folks. Something tells us the “In This House We Believe” sign is coming down real soon.
