So, the anti-Trump crowd has hit a new low. You’d think they’d run out of ways to disgrace themselves, but here we are. Over the weekend, a deranged gunman opened fire at a Pennsylvania political rally, aiming to assassinate former President Trump. The gunman failed, but instead of condemning this violence, some government employees and left-wing cronies took to social media to express their dismay that the attempt wasn’t successful. Yes, you read that right—government employees.

Let’s start with a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) employee Jenna Howell. She took to Facebook to show her disappointment that the gunman failed. Howell commented, “The memes…the memes are gold,” and shared an image of the grim reaper trying to pick Trump out of a claw machine, captioned “AWWW SO CLOSE.”

How twisted can you get? Howell didn’t stop there. She mocked those expressing grief over the attack, saying, “Y’all gun-toting, 2nd Amendment-loving hillbillies better just sit down and stay quiet unless you’re gonna change your mind on gun control.” Real classy, Jenna. This is the same person who once worked in the FBI’s NICS Firearms Background Check Unit, which decides if Americans can own guns. Now, she’s in the FBI’s Identity Research Department. Talk about putting the fox in charge of the henhouse!

Former FBI analyst Chris Toompas, who knew Howell, shared his thoughts. He said Howell always had a leftist streak and wasn’t shy about showing it. Toompas himself was kicked out of the FBI for not getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Howell even threatened to report him for violating the FBI’s Facebook policy—irony at its finest, folks. Howell’s hateful posts have since been scrubbed from her Facebook page, but the damage is done.

Next, we have Jacqueline Marsaw, a field representative hired by Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson in 2023. Marsaw didn’t just stop at expressing disappointment—she offered some twisted advice to the shooter. In a Facebook post, she wrote, “I don’t condone violence, but please get you some shooting lessons so you don’t miss next time.”

Unbelievable. Marsaw aimed this comment at the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was killed by law enforcement after the attack. Crooks managed to wound Trump, kill a local father, and seriously injure two others. Marsaw’s next post read, “That’s what your hate speech got you!!” When Trump supporters called her out, she claimed they were blind to Trump’s wrongdoings. She called herself a “CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST” and listed her employer as Rep. Thompson’s office. By Sunday afternoon, her account and her job were gone.

Rep. Thompson said Marsaw was no longer employed by him, stating he was “glad the former President is safe.” Yet, let’s not forget Thompson had previously introduced a bill to strip Trump of his Secret Service protection—the “DISGRACED Former Protectees Act,” he called it. So, does Thompson still stand by this bill in light of the assassination attempt? He has not commented yet.

The left likes to claim the moral high ground, but incidents like these show their true colors. When government employees and staffers openly wish harm to a former president, it signifies a deep-rooted sickness. These people are supposed to serve and protect the public, not cheer for political violence.

It’s high time we called out this hypocrisy. The same folks who preach about love and tolerance are quick to show their vile side when someone they dislike is in danger. They’ll mock, they’ll jeer, and they’ll express regret when violence fails to achieve their goals. This isn’t just about Trump but our values as a nation. We can’t let this kind of behavior slide.

How many more incidents need to happen before there’s real accountability? It’s not enough to fire someone after showing their true colors. We must ensure that those supposed to protect and serve are held to the highest standards. The FBI, Congress, and every other institution need to clean house. If they don’t, they’re complicit in this dangerous rhetoric.

So, to all the left-wingers out there rejoicing over political violence—take a good look in the mirror. Your hypocrisy is showing, and it’s not a good look.
